Why I Want To Run

The short version as to why I want to run on behalf of "We the People" is a deep love of our country and our Republic, and because, I have a love and passion for our "Declaration of Independence," our Constitution, and our Federalist papers. All of which laid out a perfect blueprint for the greatest civilization known in the recorded history of mankind.

Our Republic and our Constitution has been under assault for decades from the "Hypocritical do as I say not as I do two party system in Washington D.C."

It is my sincerest belief that the collective body of "We the People" has more "common sense" than any sitting member of our Congress, both past and present. After all, our most cherished and valued founding document is "The Declaration of Independence" NOT "The declaration of the republicans and democrats."

For decades now "We the People" have been tossed aside by both the democrats and republicans in favor of 35,000 'K Street' lobbyists. We have been tossed aside in favor of power, greed and the wanting of unbridled control over "We the People." We who should be the most powerful lobby have been ignored.

For decades we have been asked to "vote for the lesser of two evils." We have been asked time and again to vote for a nickel or five pennies which after all the spending Congress continues to do is about all we will have left to give to our children and grandchildren.

When "We the People" are elected to go to Washington we will introduce our "common sense legislation" please see under legislation for "We the People." We will be about real solutions and we will not be naive to the fact that the powerful on committees and in Congress will try to block us. But we will use the media, our web sites, our facebooks, our twitters and every other form of technology to bring out the truths we all already know, it's about power, greed and more control over our lives.

For years I have been asked to run for office and because I so sincerely believe in being a part of the solution, I am ready, willing and able to put my past and the hard bottom I hit sixteen years ago out there for the nation to see. We will run on our courage and convictions, stand tall and "say what we mean" and more importantly "mean what we say."
